We are looking for a Modernization Engineer to be part of our Customer Solution Engineering Department which will be based in the KONE Head Office in Istanbul and reporting to the CSE Team Leader – Modernization based in Dubai.
This role is responsible for identifying the best KONE products to meet customer needs in non-standard and modernization cases. It involves selecting the right product platform, collaborating with the Supply Line and other teams to ensure accurate costing for materials and services, and managing product lead times. Additionally, the role will create product specifications and coordinate between corporate, local sourcing, and Front Lines to deliver optimal solutions.

Are you the right Fit?
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or several years of working experience in elevator business
- Advance level of English both written and verbal
- Understanding of different building types and customer segments
- Understanding of new construction and building modernization processes in the industry
- Knowledge of KONE product-related norms and standards is a plus
- Good knowledge of environmental and sustainability requirements and norms
- Good at AutoCAD, and MS Office applications; BIM skill is a plus
- Good understanding of local norms and regulations
- Excellent virtual collaboration skills with understanding and translating customer needs into the KONE product offering
