Job Description:
Job Purpose:
• To create schedules for truck deliveries in order to ensure timely and economical product delivery to Retail sites, B2B customers, Aviation and Supply customers through the Order to Delivery process
Principal Accountabilities:
• Create and optimize an accurate, cost effective and timely delivery plan based on VMI data / customer orders to ensure that the right product and volume is delivered from the right source to the right destination at the right time by the right truck.
• Ensure data quality, i.e. full and correct submission of VMI data from source into CROSS by using the current tools (CPP Tuning Kit, VMIFE).
• Ensure VMI orders are generated properly, avoiding stock outs and optimizing OtD operations.
• Ensure that all sites are in healthy stock aligned with the business request target stock and take the proper action immediately to prevent any Left on Boards or Stock Outs.
• Update and maintain the Customer sales pattern including exceptional sales and analyse CROSS order generations and investigate unusual order generation.
• Ensure scheduled deliveries are in line with HSSE and operational procedures and customers´ SLAs
• Ensure the truck diary is correctly set up in CROSS (Scheduling Tool)
• Ensure Supply and product availability issues are reflected in CROSS’ set-up
• Allocate orders to trucks via CROSS (Scheduling Tool)
• Manually fine tune the CROSS output before sending the plans to GSAP before the appropriate cut off time and check all plans are accurate in GSAP after sending to GSAP
• Liaise with other teams that contribute to the Order to Delivery process, including credit checking staff, CSC and scheduling support teams and hauliers
• Support of master data maintenance process by effective co-operation with CROSS Data Analyst
• Contribute to the minimisation of stock-outs, Left on Boards and excessive multi-dropping for VMI customers
• Improve scheduling effectiveness, minimising stock-outs and other rework costs, using benchmarks and KPI monitoring

• Close teamwork within the scope and in particular with DSSS to drive best OtD E2E decisions.
• Balance stress, conflicting priorities and time pressures against the need to product an effective and viable schedule
• Workload in Festive periods, price change days, high season (summer) and weekends
• Scheduling in high-risk country for road safety,
• Ensure compliant scheduling with VRIP rules
