Job Description:
Purpose
Supervise all filling and packaging of Lubricants in accordance with GPC (LQS and GQS), and according to the Plan set by the Production Planners whilst meeting HSSE, Security and Environmental targets.
Dimensions
Size of the team: manages 19 staff (1 Filling team leader and 25 operators)
Principle Accountabilities
• Ensure Filling is carried out in accordance with roles described in GSAP/Streamline.
• Ensure Filling Line operation is performed in accordance with the Production Plan (as set by the Production Planner) and consistent with HSSE rules and regulations. (c)
• Work with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure Filling and Associated Equipment availability is maximized.
• Coach, train and lead Filling Team in Filling Operations.
• Authority to stop production to correct quality problems. (c)
• Coordinate packaging materials supply and follow up all packaging quality issues
Follow up all issues in PRRQuest // Dashboard (intellaquest.com) for any packaging material for lub products
• Attend BPR meetings and act focal point for packaging isuues , support CP team and Packaging Coordinator in Derince.
• Support the maintenance investment team for CAPEX project implementations.
• Lead new packaging transitions with global stakeholders.
• Fully compliant with ISO9001 Management Quality system, ISO27001 Information security management systems, IATF 16949 International Automotive Task Force , TS EN ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, ISO 10002 Complaint Handling and Customer Satisfaction Quality Management Systems, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems standards/procedures/work instructions (c)
• Act as a focal point for working at height. (c)
• Ensure operations working at height is performed according to prosedures and update the visuals at the plant related to working at height (c)
Key/Special Challenges
• How to minimize product working losses (off-spec products & flushing oils) while delivering a product portfolio that is continuously getting more complex (increasing # of formulations)
• How to maintain high efficiency in the plant (mt produced per batch) while orders are getting smaller in size over a larger size portfolio & targeted stock levels are decreasing
• How to balance short term pressures (increasing demand in a growing market under OTIF targets) against longer term requirements (tank farm optimisation / stops to enable maintenance)
• How to achieve OTIF targets in a growing market while annual opex budget poses limit on spending for overtime
