Job Description:
The role of the Fuels Pricing Analyst is to maximize enterprise value through effective contract & pricing management, close coordination with all relevant stakeholders in Mobility and ensure all contract commercial items are executed as a result of Contract Holder responsibility under Mobility Sales & Ops Organization.
- Periodically share contract management file with sales team to ensure compliance and coach team on appropriate actions
- Provide efficient and effective administrative support to Pricing Demand manager and assist in optimizing long-term profitability.
- Produce quality ad hoc reporting for main levers of business development, including sales, profitability, promotions, fleet, network activities and building the appropriate network of contacts in order to retrieve the needed information from each stakeholder
- Support business planning with margin calculations
- Support for general fuel price change implementation and execution of pricing strategy at all retail sites
- Produce high quality ad hoc reports on site-by-site price and margin evolution
- Engage with Global FPS Application Support team for IT developments in FPS and Armed systems and its interfaces with Gsap
- Using the available global Pricing tools & programs by developing rigorous reports on site by site and general retail sales/margin evolution.
- Analyze and report on key market developments
- Support Sales&Operations with quarterly performance KPIs
- Develop Site Visits Analysis Pack and collect related relevant business data from all the different functions involved.
- Support the T&R process from national target to site-by-site level
- Act promptly according to the defined Service Level Agreement for all processes
- Analyze site elasticity on prices in a way that can support decision making regarding optimization of volume/margin
- Deal with all related IT specific tools, in a particular moment of continuous change and integration between systems
- Engagement with Legal team related with Legislation changes and informing them necessarily directed by Mobility Pricing and Demand Manager (in case of any need)
- Conduct daily competitor analysis and report to management team
- Responsible for sharing Platts price evolution and expected general price changes to sales and management teams
- Add price related reference data of new site or complete amendments of current sites in FPS system
- Act as Clubsmart Extra Card focal point in team and share volume reports with internal and external stakeholders, calculate monthly commission payments for Extra Card dealers, Ensure each new site is added to Extra Card Portal, Complete monthly Extra Card margin difference calculation
REQUIREMENTS EXPERIENCES&QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstration of the aspired Enterprise First behaviors (Leadership, Accountability, Teamwork) and Shell core values (Honesty, Integrity, Respect for People)
- Proven experience of being a strong team member by working with cross functional contacts and excellent communications skills
- Good understanding of Mobility Business
- Experience in demand forecast management, contract management and projection analysis
- Work experience and/or Education in economics
- Excellent use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Macros and Access) and solid ability to query pricing related data from business warehouse and manipulate data in excel and/or access.
-Strong Analytics background: Integration of data from different pricing tools to come up with more solid insights by FPS, ARMED, GSAP, margin tool, etc.
-Excellent use of Pricing IT systems and solid ability to lead pricing related datas in excel and data analytics tool such as Alteryx
- Self-motivated and willing to learn
- Demonstrable competence in managing fuel pricing system, implementing agreed pricing strategy and standard processes, building relationships with Territory Managers, delivering the fuel pricing element of Retail Customer Commitment

- Work under pressure as it is a recurrent daily activity that cannot be interrupted and that is key for the overall retail profitability
