Job Description:
Job Purpose: To control schedules for truck deliveries to ensure timely and economical product delivery to Retail sites and B2B customers through the Order to delivery process. Support efforts for optimizing fleet by utilization of resources through robust order creation and scheduling. Use contractor partners and vehicles in the most effective manner for LPG operation. Determine and execute work schedules, diagnose problems and ensure quality control, preventative maintenance and compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Contribute to the minimisation of stock-outs, Left on Boards and excessive multi-dropping.
• Make sure that optimized, cost effective, safe and timely delivery plan based on customer orders to ensure that the right product and volume is delivered from the right source to the right destination at the right time by the right truck.
• Make sure that vehicle master data created and maintained timely and accurately in GSAP and PCIS System; align with TMS data at depots.
• Ensure scheduled deliveries are in line with HSSE and operational procedures and customers´ SLAs.
• Ensure the truck diary is correctly set up in PCIS System.
• Ensure supply and product availability issues are reflected in PCIS set-up.
• Provide quick responses to planning issues.
• Work jointly with local Supply Scheduler, local Channel Optimiser/HC dealmaker to enable value creation through road transport operations.
• Analyse, improve, and run to recommend and scheduling to ensure optimal coverage for service level goals.
• Develop and utilize other analytical methods to coordinate with the RT to improve accuracy of the schedule.
