Job Description:

This position provides HSSE support and assurance to the Trading & Supply , Engineering and Road Transport team in Turkey, to implement and ensure compliance with Shell and Legal HSSE requirements. The role drives continuous improvement in HSSE performance as well as value generation through the effective and tailored use of HSSE principles.

Senior HSSE Advisor will lead the HSSE team members to a best in class HSSE support and HSSE challenge through an excellent partnership with the stakeholders.

HSSE support to T&S Business in a high risk country. The T&S business in Turkey consists of 4 Shell Owned Terminals, 4 JV Terminals, 4 OSP's, both Primary and Secondary Road Transport Operations, TC Vessel and railway operations.

Collaboration within the Distribution Operations Leadership as part of the Engineering - Operations - HSSE triangle.

Achieve proactive and reactive HSSE targets of Personal Safety, Process Safety and Road safety.

Define and agree yearly HSSE plans at country level and for high risk terminal, Engineering, Road Transport and TC Vessel contracts, for multiple locations.

mplement HSSE requirements such as Control Framework, local HSSE legislation etc. at multiple locations

Check and provide HSSE advice on MOC requests (HSSE)and Statement of fitness for multiple locations in Turkey.

Facilitate and lead Incident investigations using causal learning methodology. Analyse T&S incidents using Sphera and Power BI for management reporting requirements and to identify areas for improvement. Design and agree improvement plans with the various parties.

Facilitate, review and update of HEMP, HRA, SRA, Worker Welfare and /or other risk assessments (e.g. HAZOP, LOPA, PSSR)

Lead the preparation and then coordinate the delivery of Shell Lod1/LoD2/LoD3 audits as well as legislation audits.

Deliver the required HSSE support to ensure appropriate Contractor Safety Management (Green banding, Contractor HSSE plans, Contractor evaluations etc.)

Provide support to special projects.

Support the Road Transport HSSE advisor as required as SME to our Road Transport & Commercial Operations teams.

Provide SME and Technical Authority (TA2) support as requested for Engineering and Operations.

Provide SME support on several Personal Safety Requirements especially related to the PTW process.

Provide SME support to OSP Contract Holders and JV's where applicable.

Member of Turkey corporate HSSE team. Participate Country HSSE coordination meetings.

Degree in a Technical Area or HSSE discipline preferred. Good understanding of Turkey's HSSE legislation will be beneficial.

Knowledge of Turkey's legal requirements with specific reference to emission control and Seveso directive, water and soil protection, work safety will be beneficial.
