Job Description:
Scheduler will act as a subject matter expert and will have a focus on inland scheduling activities for pipeline,rail,truck and barge supplies. In consistence with local requirements and Shell HSSE standards, Scheduler will be responsible from the execution of the plan made by Fuel Channel optimiser and will ensure operational feasibility / continuity at the supply chain. He/She provides fully complaint, professional oil and freight scheduling & operations services in Supply Operation Team.
Operations Analyst part of the role will cover the execution of 3rd party service contract administration activities, monitoring and improvement of TSP related HM KPIs and processes.
This position is part of the Shell & Turcas JV Trading & Supply Team and located in Turkey
Close liaison with Traders, Channel Optimisers, HCDM and terminals is required to ensure the supply-chain is kept feasible in the most cost efficient way and all contractual and operational obligations arising from the contracts are carried out. By working as part of a team, the incumbent must:
• Execute supply plans made by channel optimiser for AGO, MOGAS and Fuel Oil products scheduling & operating inland pipeline, barge and rail supplies in coordination with STAS, JV, OSP and 3rd party terminals.
• Ensure operational feasibility in day-to-day with continuous feasibility feedbacks to channel optimisers.
• Maintain Shell’s stock in the allocated locations within specified limits (target stocks) and contractual requirements, striving to minimise working capital & transport costs whilst meeting HSSE and legislative standards.
• Arrange deliveries of product to pipeline, barge and rail fed customers as steered by Channel Optimiser
• Play an active part in the planning process, contributing with information and feedback about logistical constraints and opportunities
• Liaise with source refineries, terminals, exchange partners, terminals and multiple COB’s to ensure replenishments are accomplished optimally when the need to react to both internal and external events occurs.
• Capture non-conformance, supply, quality and HSSE incidents.
• Authorise payment of invoices for the area of individual responsibility.
• Process requisitions in Hydrocarbon Management Systems as the area of individual responsibility requires.
• Ensure pipeline, rail & barge nominations are sent accurately on time while holding an open communication with counterparties within terminals, and 3rd parties.
• Stock and sales related all mandatory EMRA ( daily/monthly) reporting responsibility
• To monitor and follow- up the G/L of the HC purchases (via pipeline transfer and barge loadings).
• To support contract holder in terms of, invoice control and contract administrative works.
• To monitor daily working capital value of the HC stocks.
• To enter SPO in line with streamline global standard process requirements.
• To resolve payment conflicts in a timely fashion with a zero overdue target & mindset.
• To prepare C&P / CB documentation.
• Act as a focal point to global HM and stock recording & valuation desks within Channel Optimization Team
• Acts as a 1ts cover for Channel Optimiser Fuels (AGO, MOGAS, Fuel Oil)
• Fully compliant with ISO9001 Management Quality system and ISO27001 Information security management systems

TSP is responsible to make fuel products in the portfolio available throughout the country while optimising cost and working capital; and increasing competitiveness and optionality of Shell’s supply chain with a focus on exposure management.
Scheduler Dimensions:
• 3 STAS terminals, 4 JV terminals, 4 OSP terminals,
• STAR - TUPRAS Refineries
• ~ 4,5 mln tons/year AGO
• ~1 mln tons/year MOGAS
Admin Analyst Dimensions:
• HC sales/purchase contracts worth app >2000 mln USD with local & international counterparties.
Special Challenges
TSP environment is often dynamic and fast moving. Schedulers often have to be able to respond quickly and accurately to challenging and sometimes conflicting deadlines in order to comply with business needs and policy guidelines.
The ability to prioritise from several potentially conflicting tasks whilst keeping a cool head is essential to success in dealing with internal and external customers. We are looking for those willing to work to deadlines in a lively, fast-moving, frequently changing environment where numeracy, attention to detail, proven team working and communication skills are important.
This is an operational job that requires incumbent to be contactable outside office hours to oversee important activities or resolve unplanned operation issues. In case of unplanned activities work pressure can be significant

Fluent in Business English, written and oral
Relevant experiences in any supply, distributions or trading operations.
He/She needs to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple parties.
The incumbent will need to be able to handle multitude of competing priorities, tight timeline and make decisions amidst ambiguity. He/She requires the ability to understand key elements of supply chain and operations, scheduling and transportation, execution of contracts.
