Job Description:
The main responsibility of the role is to facilitate the accurate and timely movement of trading & supply import / inland cargos, from origin to destination in compliance with company standards and complaint with legislative and custom related procedures.
In addition to the cargo operation, this role will also be regionally responsible for the operation of terminal based refinery purchases via pipeline / rail / pipeline.
He/She will ensure accuracy and completeness of quotes, services, documentation, and billing for services. Expectation is to acquire necessary documentation and information in a timely manner to ensure supply security.
- He / She will act as a cooperative team member in T&S
- He/She will be working very closely with the HCDM and CO Team for to ensure supply security in first and one time wright manner.
- It is responsible for mastering the details of all agreements covering the import operation and managing the supply chain accordingly.
- In the import operation, he/she is responsible for controlling the terminal stock levels, checking the technical availability and GMAS clearence of the jetty, in order to complete the supply operation on time in the entire process from the loading refinery /terminal to the discharge terminal.
- Handle both vessel & pipeline & intank import shipments.
- Serve the supply needs and interact with all contacts, in a supply focused fashion at all times.
- Oversee/monitor/assist in the preparation of accurate documents in a timely manner from source documents (checking for accuracy) taking responsibility for completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the transaction.
- Coordinate and getting the shipping documentation, vessel clearances, checking incoterm details for each delivery, close follow up for ETA related tracking and notification.
- Assure compliance interaction regarding customs are coordinated to arrange for discharge of product to nominated terminal
- Respond to vendor / customer and/or custom & inspection agent requests and requirements in a timely manner. Provide timely shipment status updates to relevant stake holders in trading and supply business.
- Provide timely updates to business if any change to shipment is communicated from vendor operations; change in quantity, change request in nomination date, change to vessel ETA etc.
- He/She will be responsible to monitor and report the allocation of 3rd party sales in monthly and yearly manner.
- It is expected to manage the import operation with minimum cost. He / She will be responsible to manage demurrage – custom – BLG – inspection&testing cost with in the limits of yearly plan.
