General Position Definition The Mobility Economics Advisor will be part of Finance team and will support the Mobility Business Sales&Acquisition team in ensuring that all economic and financial considerations are appropriately reflected in the investment decision-making process through proposal to review. The Economics Advisor will also be supporting STAS Mobility business with effective performance management to help business to focus on the right financial KPIs on the right time and increase bottom line impact.
Position description - Purpose
Purpose STAS Turkey Mobility business comprises of ~1200 sites, mostly on DO platform, currently 74 sites operated as CO.
Mobility Economics Advisor will act as the functional specialist within the Mobility team for economic evaluation, delivering together with Mobility business being in collaboration with T&S /Legal/Credit /Tax/Treasury/R&A functions to identify risk return of investments accurately and propose appropriate mitigation actions. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to Marketing Finance team, build and maintain effective working relationships with the Functions, Pricing and with Network in particular. Provide Training to Network and Mobility users in DOVAMO and support JV projects with financing modeling experience. Work together with FO to support Mobility business and safeguard Network contracts.
Position description - Accountabilities
Accountabilities Primary accountabilities include the following:
Investment/Divestment/Business Model Change: Responsible to review and challenge the Investment Proposals including assumptions and overall business case; ensure alignment with Mobility strategy and T&R; ensure compliance with Group policies, most notably accounting/ financial reporting policies; check and, where appropriate, challenge DCF calculations. Support the DOVAMO model including updating general and platform assumptions annually or when material changes take place. And support Marketing Finance Manager and CFO for decision making on investment proposals.
Business Partnering: Support business to achieve its targets while creating positive tension between teams. Close collaboration with Network, Legal, B2C, SFS, Commercial Fuels teams and finance functions (R&A, Tax, Credit, Treasury, Internal Audit) to identify integrated end to end value of investments.
Projects: Support strategic reviews and implementation of projects related with Network. Provide economic and finance input on M&A activities (ie EV business growth, JVs, acquisitions, swaps, divestments) by supporting due diligence, valuations and negotiations. Support Operator Platform reviews. And, ensure that investment proposals support Cash/C5/ROACE/Volume ambitions of the business.
Post Investment Reviews: Support both local and global post reviews in collaboration with the business, including tracking of performance of assets versus what was included in investment proposals.
Compliance: Ensure proper authorities are obtained for proposals in line with the Group, Operational and Corporate MOA.
Business Risks: In a volatile market environment with complex deal structures, not only look at financial viability but also holistically review all risks to ensure value is safeguarded.
Operational Excellence: Drive Continuous Improvement in Finance for Network business. Ensure quality of Investment Proposals is in line with Group Standards and that they are tracked timely and correct.
