The role of the CP Lead Corporate & Functions is responsible for managing the strategic execution of sourcing strategies and ensuring optimal contract coverage (cost extraction and commercial risk mitigation) across spend of the business for Retail, T&S, and LSC
To ensure that Procurement adds value to the various businesses mostly in Corporate categories, through Total Cost of Ownership, delivering or exceeding business service needs and Third Party Spend Savings targets
Categories to be supported:
• Electricity and natural gas for Head Office, Plant, Terminals & SPAS Sites
• Events & Organizations
• Travel Agencies, Airlines, Hotels and Meeting Packages
• IT Managed Network Services, Satellite Systems, & GSM Contracts
• Cargo Services for Head Office & Terminals
• Security Services for Head Office & Terminals
• Personnel Shuttle Services for Head Office & Terminals
• VIP Shuttle Services
• Cafe Catering for Head Office
• Facility Management
• Health Insurance & Salary Agreement for Shell Staff
• Financial advisory and audit agreement
Government Intermediate related contracts’ focal point
Manage Tactical Contracts (40+) with designated Contract Holders
Conduct continuous market search to keep contractor portfolio active and updated
Ensures that category is delivering current & future needs while connected with the business to achieve appropriate technical, commercial and HSSE outcomes
Category Strategy Development:
*Developing and implementing sourcing strategies to meet the needs of internal customers in compliance with the Global Contracting & Procurement processes and procedures
*Provide input to the Global Category Strategy and ensure an effective and efficient local or localized implementation of the Global Category Strategies in Turkey
*Be the external face to the industry and be aware of industry trends, familiar with the key players, and bring that external insight into the Shell team
Effective Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain good relations with key suppliers and manage negotiations including resolution of operational and supplier performance issues relating to the contract.
* Build and maintain good relations with internal and external stakeholders
*Achieving Value Improvements and Third Party Spend Savings for the Category and reporting within tools in line with global process and procedures
*Responsible to support delivery of RtP (Requisition to Payment) KPIs and compliance delivery for Turkey
Procurement Policy & Strategy:
*Providing full Contracting & Procurement support for all businesses and other procurement Categories locally when needed.
*Managing regional or local tenders, negotiations or other operational procurement matters, negotiation with suppliers on contract terms
*Effective contract management in line with global procurement policies
*Following-up and resolving of daily Contracting & Procurement related issues with suppliers, businesses, finance and global Shared Service Center
*Set-up and follow-up of On-Line Bidding
*Market research for alternative competitive or creative suppliers
*Contribute technical and functional evaluation of specifications
*Contracts and related database management
