With Shell’s energy transition strategy plans to become a net-zero emissions energy business by 2050, Mobility is planning significant near-term investment to develop EV charging sites and installing EV charging points on and off Mobility forecourts with an ambition of 30,000 charging points by 2025. Therefore, a rapid growth in EV business is expected with the new business models including destination charging, mobility hubs and SFS fleet hubs and significant Capex investments are projected in upcoming years (~$800m capex to be invested in the coming 2 years).

In this regard, Shell Turkey New Energies team has accelerated its efforts at the end of 2022 with Project Turnkey which is a partnership with Trugo on deploying high speed EV chargers at 400 Shell Retail sites. Implementation of this project will be phased through 2023 and 2024. Local strategy is to proceed with selective growth opportunities with destination, forecourt EV projects and solar investments.

CP Lead Mobility EV Turkey will be part of CP team and this role has the responsibility to support development and implementation electric vehicle (EV) charging business models.

To contribute to the achievement of Shell Mobility objectives and priorities of EV development; to Think Local Act Global (TLAG) and maximizing the Value for Shell Mobility Turkey by:

• Managing the execution of the complete Category Management & Contracting Process (CMCP) including Contract Strategy, Tactics and Contract Management activities for the Mobility business.

• Primary category focus on EV (Network, Marketing, PayLo)

• To work with business colleagues and suppliers to ensure delivery of maximum value via each of the awarded contract/commercial deal.

Dimensions:

This role has the responsibility to support development & management a series of business opportunities to extend EV charging beyond the Shell Retail forecourt in Türkiye. CP Lead Mobility EV Turkey will act as a single FP for Mobility organization in category of EV with focus on Network RE/Engineering, Marketing/PayLo, SFS.

Accountabilities:

Primary accountabilities of CP Lead Mobility EV Turkey include the following.

• The CP Lead Mobility EV Turkey is responsible and accountable for developing Contracting and Procurement strategies for Mobility that meets the business EV Turkey demands while balancing the potential value of implementing Global Strategies locally vs local options.

• Conducting tenders, evaluate bids & drive negotiations with Suppliers in accordance with the CMCP as an overall ‘guidance’.

• Ensuring delivery & effectively manage contracts while continuously drive value improvement targets.

• Ensuring contract strategy supports Goal Zero Aspiration through implementation of robust Contractor Safety Management practices and alignment to Shell’s personal and process safety Goal Zero focus areas.

Implementing Contractor HSSE practices in close liaison with Contract Managers/Holders and Owners.

• Providing input to the Global Category Strategy and ensure an effective and efficient local or “glocal” implementation of Global Category Strategies in Turkey. Be the external face to the industry, be aware of industry trends. Applying the Category Management & Contracting Process (CMCP) and ensure all EV procurement activities in Türkiye are done in line with Shell E&C and sustainable sourcing standards aligned with best practice and global tools. Ensure collaborative ways of working with Global Mobility EV Category.

• In support of local Contract Management Teams (CMT) coordinate and facilitate Business Performance Reviews (BPR) to track, address and manage supplier performance, HSSE issues and commercial opportunities and to track progress/improvements over the life of the contract. This may include leading negotiations to resolve operational and performance issues relating to the contract.

• Reports & Tracks Cost Improvement, Cash-In Revenue, Bottom Line Savings & value generation for the Convenience Retail Category in the region. Ensure that the maximum benefit is derived from the strategic procurement of EV spend.
