This role sits within the CP DS Mobility Türkiye team and reports into the CP Manager Türkiye

The Role / Accountabilities:

By forging deep relationships with our business partners, we operate safe, competitive, sustainable and digitally connected supply chains, closely connected with our businesess such as Mobility, Lubricants and T&S. CP Lead Raw Materials , Capex & MRO role has been created to deliver competitive performance in categories related with COGS, CAPEX and OPEX at full potential.

Working closely with both global , regional and local teams, you will focus on fit for purpose solutions for Mobility, Lubricants and T&S developing and executing sourcing strategies for major categories such as packaging , biofuels, additives, NFR- carcare , finished lubricants, capex investments and MRO.

You will play an important role in liaising with industry bodies, identifying new and emerging trends, establishing ways to improve both the management of the suppliers but also the outcomes from their work. This role offers significant opportunities to work closely and collaboratively with the stakeholders from different COBs in Türkiye to leverage on category management expertise, demand management tools and increase Shell’s buying power, also provides an exciting opportunity to coach and develop others CP team members who are delivering this scope.

You will be critical to their key supplier contracting relationships. Working with existing, and supporting the enablement of new suppliers, you will be integral to setting up and managing the contracted relationship for success it is expected that you will implement the most competitive procurement strategies, category management guidance and support, appropriate for each contract segment.

Portfolio includes:

• Managing packaging , biofuels, additives, NFR- carcare , finished lubricants, capex investments and MRO contracts to optimize value delivery, and maximize revenue. Developing and executing contracts in line with CMCP guidelines; significant variations per supplier (or per category) requiring negotiation. Managing complex processes and systems with moderate degree of cross-functional and cross-system linkages.

• Leading sourcing projects to bring innovative solutions; developing and executing best in class procurement strategies to secure the best value and contribute to the business growth.

• Guiding internal stakeholders to obtain the best possible integrated value for business requirements and leading negotiations with external suppliers to not just ensure delivery of scope but also to drive overall greater value throughout the relationship through effective supplier management - with a significant focus on cost improvement and revenue generation.

• Mix of high, medium and low risk tactical contracts with total ACV of $400 Mln

• Negotiate contracts for Goods and Services procurement with different level of complexity, risk and market composition. Ensure proper supplier due diligence and secure appropriate terms and conditions to ensure compliance with Shell standards.

• Complex internal stakeholder landscape

Skills and Requirements i.e.

• Proven university track record of execution excellence and delivering results, ideally in the Supply Chain studies / field.

• Min 10 years of commercial experience, ideally in Procurement or other commercial roles.

• Knowledge of commodity procurement is desirable.

• Experience in direct and indirect procurement, supply chain, commodity procurement desirable.

• Enthusiasm, energy, and a team player. Fluent in English

• Enhanced engagement, influencing and communication skills.

• Experience and track record in front-line negotiations desirable.

• A sound understanding of the CMCP (Category Management and Contracting Process) and commercial contract management technique desirable

• Learner mindset and can-do attitude!

• Good understanding of strategic, technical, legal, finance, taxation, and commercial issues.

Main responsibilities will include:

• High level of external focus and an appetite to make deals and implement resulting contracts jointly with other Shell stakeholders and suppliers.

• Lead sourcing strategies and actively contribute to projects development and deployment to deliver best in class third party performance, simplification and cost reduction/revenue growth ambition

• Help provide the correct level of CP coverage, and category management, appropriate for each contract segment.

• Consolidate the supply base; look for alternatives; benchmark existing portfolio

• Negotiate required terms and conditions in line with Shell standards.

• Optimize third party spend, minimize costs/risks and maximize value.

• The successful candidate will need to have strong stakeholder management skills and be able to work at various levels within the organization and across businesses within Downstream and the various parts of the CP organization

• Implement robust CP tactics/strategy and contract documentation to secure third party services and materials that comply with business needs, quality requirements and on the best commercial terms that fully account for all market capacity/capability and risks/opportunities.
