Job Description:
Purpose of the Role: The Marketing Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in driving Shell’s communication campaigns, enhancing brand visibility, and managing key projects that increase preference for Shell. The individual in this role will manage a variety of campaigns and projects, working closely with global and local marketing teams, managing agencies and vendors, overseeing budgets, and ensuring smooth project execution, approvals and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage & take part in end to end development and 360° planning and execution of marketing communications and brand building campaigns
• Manage & take part in project details and schedules for the creation of marketing campaign deliverables, ensuring high-quality results and on-time delivery
• Create fully integrated communications plan across all customer touch points
• Champion effective and timely site activation, including the management of printed and digital visual plans, road signboards, and other customer touchpoints, including creative processes and delivery.
• Effective Agency & Vendor Management: Foster strong relationships with agencies and third-party vendors, including BTL agencies, printing companies, digital display management, and warehouse providers, ensuring to maintain efficient processes to deliver successful activation
• Close collaboration and manage effective relationship with stakeholders within the company, serving as the focal point for Brand&Comm team, including Non-Fuels-Retail, Sales & Acquisition, Network Operations & Engineering, HSSE, Fuels, Loyalty & Payment teams etc.
• Innovate and provide effective dealer communication strategies aligned with Shell’s communication objectives and company vision, leveraging global tools and engaging internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage day-to-day MarCom budget, including the processing and payment of pre-approved invoices and monthly reporting of the state of the budget
• Lead & take part in media buying and manage media agency on-time (especially for road signboard and outdoor channels)
• Closely follow industry trends and news and proactively reflect trends into brand campaigns & site activation
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative customer data from multiple sources (internal & external) to develop a narrative around customer issues and needs, feeding communication campaigns customer journey
• Lead & take part in online and offline all communication creative process
• Measure and report performance of all marketing communication campaigns and assess against goals (KPIs and ROI)
