Position Definition

Production Analyst is the support role of production units. It works in close relationship with all unit supervisors and Planning, Logistics and Quality units. He is responsible for the correct operation of the GSAP system within the framework of legislation and Shell policies. Performs and supervises GSAP transactions. Leave and overtime analysis, compliance with the Production-Filling Plan, stock accuracy are among the important targets (KPIs) it follows. It works to ensure that the MCV (Material Cost Variance) value remains within the specified limits.

Principle Accountabilities

Principle Accountabilities

  • To monitor and report daily, weekly, monthly performance KPIs of production units to Production Manager
  • To follow the REACH processes as a focal point, to share with the relevant units about the regulations and results
  • To create and analyze all Production Performance Repots and Performing GSAP reports and controls of production units (KKS1, PODA, confirmation accuracy, MCV, etc.) and prepare reports to Production Team
  • Perform GSAP- superuser role in production Team and create tickets if requires
  • To work as a focal point on behalf of production on MCV and Margin leakage issues, to submit a report to the production manager by conducting analysis studies with the relevant stakeholders, an analyze E2E Margin Leakage-Analysis for production department as a focal point and co-ordinate regional stakeholders
  • To Use Plant Visibility tools , to inform the relevant units about the actions to be taken when necessary analyze production losess/ stock loses/ flush generation and prepare all reports to Production Manager
  • To analyze the stock count results and share them with all relevant teams, to follow up the actions taken at the stock count result meetings,
  • To ensure the follow-up and up-to-dateness of the Production KPI file (Monthly Production Performance Tracking file),
  • To perform the stock entries in GSAP of bulk base oil (Ship & ISO container) products, the stock movements of TSW Ticketing transactions to the system in a timely manner, to work in coordination with CMS, Logistics, Quality and Bulk Operations teams in this regard (c)
  • To make timely confirmations of Production and Filling orders in GSAP, to comply with the provisions of the legislation determined during the confirmations, to reflect the quantities and time correctly to the system (c)
  • To perform the stock entries in G-SAP and stock movements of bulk additive products to the system in a timely manner, to work in coordination with CMS, Logistics, Quality and Bulk Operations teams in this regard (c)
  • To follow blocked Products products and raw materials in GSAP (c) and monitor these stocks as a focal point
  • To take the necessary GSAP action by obtaining the approval of the Facility Manager for the write-offs that may occur in the stocks (c)
  • To actively follow the MEC (Month End Closing) processes in coordination with all units
  • To perform 551-552 (Production Gain / Loss) analyzes and share the results with the stakeholders
  • To stay in contact with the maintenance team and to ensure that the products are written off correctly and out of the system appropriately,
  • To carry out the relevant stock movements by obtaining the necessary approvals for non-routine stock movements related to additives (transit gain/loss outside the tolerance),
  • To deduct the waste oils sent to the Disposal Companies from the stock in GSAP and carry out the relevant system movements in case of product output / sale from T502,
  • To make the necessary GSAP action by obtaining the approval of the Plant Manager of the bulk raw materials and products requested for use in the plant (Own Use) (c)
  • To follow up the QM lot approval processes of the base oils received by vessel with the Quality team,
  • To analyze the generation & re-use of mineral oil and grease flus oil and to share it with the relevant units, to support the process by working to reduce the amount of generation and increase the amount of re-use
  • To follow the demands and problems of the production team related to GSAP with the Superuser task, to advance the demands of the production team by creating a new ticket with the ASD web request when necessary,
  • To follow all correct Production & Filling BOMs in place, to contact the Quality and Planning units in case of errors, to report the deficiencies and changes to the relevant unit supervisors and the production manager,
  • To contribute to data and report studies related to the OEE system,
  • To carry out stock tracking of the products in the waste area (Lubemix W / Greasemix W) before stock count,
  • Working in close relationship with the Blending Supervisor, Filling Supervisor, Grease Supervisor and Bulk Projects Supervisor during stock counts, keeping track of count variance rates (c)
  • To work in accordance with the procedures and instructions of TS EN ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems, TS EN ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, TS ISO / IEC 27001 Information Security and ISO 10002 Customer Satisfaction Quality Management and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Systems, ISO 50001 Energy Management System Standards (c)
  • To support the work of the Derince Master Plan,
  • To support line & capacity studies by examining container data,
  • To support the processes by taking an active role in the necessary reporting for the compliance team,
  • To follow up the action in the Daily Production Plan Compliance (PSA) meetings and to ensure the up-to-date follow-up of the file.

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • To have at least an associate degree
  • To have an intermediate level of English at a level that can correspond
  • To be able to use Microsoft Office programs at a good level
  • To be using GSAP at a good level
