Job Description:
Principal Accountabilities:
• Complete all tax operation activities (including, CIT, VAT, excise duty and similar) which fall under tax compliance scope including general ledger account reconciliation, return preparation & submission,
• Preparation of tax computation for tax returns and tax notes to audited financial statements including transfer pricing documentation,
• Performing intra-group transaction analysis to feed the transfer pricing documentation,
• Reconcile VAT and Excise Duty accounts and prepare and submit returns on a timely basis,
• Prepare and follow-up indirect tax related BLG (bank letter of guarantee letters) claims,
• Prepare, submit & review Stamp Tax returns and prepare necessary amendment returns,
• Reconcile environmental fee accounts and prepare and submit returns on a timely basis,
• Follow up on any tax refund processes including risk analysis reports follow up (GEKSİS, KDVİRA, ÖTVİRA)
• Collecting and inputting data with high level of accuracy, quality and in accordance with agreed deadlines
• Preparation of tax provisions and tax accounting entries for quarterly tax reporting and perform related tax quarter close activities as needed both group and statutory financial tables,
• Complete tax related accounting activities upon which tax returns depends, including control checks of transactional data to identify any errors or anomalies,
• Work with broader finance & business compliance colleagues to create valuable reports to feed the return preparation processes,
• Work with broader finance colleagues to meet statutory reporting requirements and to ensure any errors are properly corrected, and that remedial action has been taken to minimize the likelihood of similar errors in the future,
• Ensure all tax related corrections and adjustments are entered correctly in the ERP system,
• Support all tax/statutory and financial audits both regular & ad hoc,
• Ownership for all compliance aspects within assigned scope
