Territory Manager – Lubricants Indirect Channel
Accountabilities:
Main Responsibility: In charge of sales of all channels and all brands but especially will be focused Wheels and Industrial Channel. Hunting will be the main objective. While incremental sales and margin targets are key deliverables, expectation is to approach it as integrated business delivery by looking at all levers that can unlock the growth – for example, hunting, new investments, RTM structure, digitalization, local marketing opportunities, supply chain efficiencies and channel capability development. While Sales Manager will focus more on management of distributors, territory manager should be able to build programs to gain more customers and additional market share.
Target delivery: Total volumes, C3 margins as well as premium volumes and margins as per aligned T&R.
Distributor management: Working with sales managers to provide the right direction to our distributors for sales promotion activities, new customer acquisition and incremental volume.
Better product portfolio upgradation: Understanding SKU /channel level profitability structure to identify and drive opportunities to continuously upgrade portfolio and driving margin mix.
Channel health/motivation: Working within Business Development Team to build strong and stable pipeline with realistic business plans to ensure delivery of volume and profitability targets. Ensure that channel is aligned and investing as per company vision to improve the business.
Investment Management: As a part of the Business Development Team, she/he will examine the investments to be made in the automotive market and take part in the decision-making processes.
RTM strategy and channel excellence: Assess Shell presence Vs competition in terms of coverage/penetration and develop fit for purpose RTM models to drive quantity and quality of coverage. Be a champion of operationalizing and rewarding sales execution excellence in everyday work to achieve sustained results
Influencing multi-functional partners and leadership team in shared vision for region growth, needs and garnering support for the strategy execution.
