Job Description:
Accountabilities
• Manages Price Risk exposure between the pricing terms of base oil, FX, additive, change at activity rates and the customer pricing terms together with market dynamics.
• Manages exposure to ensure Turkiye Lubricants impact on P&L.
• Works closely with regional pricing team, LSC and finance to ensure pricing model and to offer necessary actions to be taken by Business Managers & Account Managers.
• Works and analyzes LPC’s with parallel to base oil and FX changes and ensure to recover margins by SKU and by sector. It is expected to bring alternatives and to offer price changes proactively.
• Ensures a clear understanding of how our pricing methodology reflect on customers an of how price exposure impacts business total margins.
• Sets up and maintains the minimum price framework for the business which has a direct impact on the manual of authorities.
Key skills and competences
An overall commercial understanding and how Pricing impacts commerciality is an essential skill set. An understanding of the pricing management landscape in Shell Turkiye is preferable. Previous experiences in sales, technical, finance or marketing roles is a strong basis. A strong working knowledge and skill base of pricing management, commercial deal structures and contracting, coupled with an understanding of price modelling and valuation are critical skills for the role.
There is a focus on the development and use of data and analytics to support pricing decision making in lubricants. Thus, experiences and skills which rely on analytics and the use of data are seen as a strong basis for this role.
You will need to bring to this role strong interpersonal and relationship management expertise with a desire to drive change and commercial excellence across the whole organization. Your ability to lead, motivate and develop both direct and indirect teams is critical as you will be supporting a local and regional agenda.
It is critical that you have a strong track record of commercial delivery, with real examples of where you have demonstrated commercial acumen which have delivered strong results.
The individual should be able to demonstrate the following qualities in previous experience:
