What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate Project Engineer – R&D (SW/Motor Control) who will join our team at WAT Motor – Electronic Product & Projects.

• Improving SW design for industrial, emobility and defence applications
• Specific activities will include the design, test, and validation of power electronic-based products
• Developing motor control software architecture to ensure fast and efficient execution of motor control projects
• Working actively with SW/HW experts to drive appropriate tradeoffs to deliver subsystem-level attribute targets
• Collaborating across functional and geographic boundaries to leverage global knowledge and deliver winning solutions
• Scouting for new technologies about embedded software and control.

The position is located in Teknopark İstanbul (Pendik). Hybrid working model is available.

How do we describe the perfect match?

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering,
• Having experience in SW/Control design,
• Having experience in MATLAB /Simulink, tools is a plus,
• Having experience in C programming language,
• Willing to make research about new technologies for power electronics, emobility,
• General knowledge of periphery disciplines, (electronics, control, electromagnetics, power electronics)
• Knowledge of electrical machines especially on PMSM,
• Outside the box thinking ability,
• Open to innovation culture,
• Flexible and open to new perspectives,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English, (German is a plus),
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs,
• Following and adapting the market trends and new Technologies,
• Flexible and open to new perspectives,
• A great team player with a self-initiative mindset,
• Knowing what empathy really means,
• Being open to communication,
